Bajaj Motors has launched an innovative Bajaj chetak electric scooter in 2020 in Pune and Bangalore. Now they might release this e-scooter in Chennai and Hyderabad. This electric scooter almost gives most of the features.

Bajaj chetak is an electric vehicle based on an electric battery called Lithium-ion powered by 3KW/H. The electric hub motor types of BLDC have 4080 Kw of highest power and expecting to give continuous 3.8 kW with the maximum torque of 16Nm. It is also available in reverse gear with automatic transmission.

Performance of Engine

Bajaj Chetak Electric Scooter gives two drive modes and these are; Eco and Sports.

Initially, the Eco version will give 85 KM mileage in a single run with a full charge. The Sport version will run on 95 KM in a single run with a full charge.

The battery will fully chargeable in five hours. In case of an emergency ride, in one hour it can charge approximately 25 % of the battery.

Bajaj chetak electric scooter capacity of the battery is Lithium-ion 40 volts, 60.3 Ah. Bajaj chetak electric scooter top speed will reach 60 to 70 KM/h.

Bajaj Claims Chetak battery can long-lasts for 70,000 KMs. For battery, Bajaj Motors India provides three years or 50,000 KMS as a manufacturing warranty.

Chetak E-Scooter Brakes, Tires, & Wheels

Brakes are used in a combined braking system for both wheels. The front brake got disc brakes and the rear brakes consist of drum brakes whereas Chetak Electric Scooter tires are tubeless.

The front side of the tire is 90/90-12 and the backside of the tire is 90/100-12. The wheels are only available in alloy and the size for both front and back is 300 MM.
