There are two diesel engines available for the MG Gloster with 1996 engine displacement and 215 BHP: a 2-liter turbo with 163 PS and a maximum torque of 375 Nm, and a 2-liter twin-turbo with 218 PS and a maximum torque of 480 Nm. Both engines of diesel are coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 2-liter turbo-diesel car has rear-wheel drive, while the 2-liter twin-turbo diesel has a four-wheel drive.

According to MG Gloster, the full-size SUV MG Gloster has a size 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system (TIS) with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
