Toyota is known for its SUVs. Its Qualis was successful, then Innova and now Crysta. And now, Toyotais planning to introduce its most affordable MPV in the middle of this year in India. It has Crysta and Vellfire in the market, but Velfire is a luxury MPV and Innova Crysta is a premium offering itself. This made the Japanese Automaker getting the Ertiga to the Toyota Showroom. With a difference in its design and also a new name and soon we are hoping to see a new 7- seater vehicle in its list, i.e. Toyota Ertiga and one another vehicle i.e. Toyota Wagon R.

Toyota is soonoffering a rebadged union of the ToyotaWagon R EV under its partnership with Suzuki. It will enable the sharing of vehicles as well as electric and hybrid technologies and platform. The design and style of the upcoming Toyota hatchback car look similar to Maruti Wagon R, except for the Toyota logo alloy wheels. Apart from the alloy wheels, there will be several styling updates made to this Toyota badge new wagon R.

In terms of styling, the new Toyota car will have few differences. Like new bumpers, different side profile, and a completely new facia. The car will sports all-LED exterior lighting, with a sharp-looking split headlamp design at the front end. And possibly it will travel more than 120 KM in a single charge.
Price of New Toyota Wagon R
The estimated ex-showroom price of the new Toyota Wagoner R EV will be Rs.9 – 10 lakhs.
ToyotaWagon REV is likely to launch towards the end of 2021 or early 2022.
It seems that the Japanese carmaker Toyota is planning to foray into the mass hatchback space with the existing Wagon R model. Because recently a test model of the electric hatchback was spotted testing without any camouflage in India. It will be really interesting to see the new Wagon R EV will go on sale with a Toyota badge and a new name.
As per the Specification is concerned, Toyota Ertiga will have a new diesel engine motor churning about 95 BHP of power and close to 200NM of Peak torque. It will also get a 1.5-litre petrol engine which will produce close to 105BPH of power. Petrol will be paired to a 12V mild-hybrid system and will be paired with a five-speed manual gearbox and four-speed torque converter automatic.
Being a badge-engineered version of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, it will share the same features as that of the Maruti car. The list of features will be the same on the duo.

Apart from this, there will be no major change on this vehicle, but we aren’t certain if anything else will be offered on it. The looks of the front end and rear end will be different. So we are excited and expect Toyota to get a 1.5-litre diesel engine before Maruti.
Maruti’s Ertiga was well received by the people so the Toyota brand will get an added advantage with the new product introduction in the market. As far as the launch is concerned, Toyota Ertiga is likely to be launch sometime in the second half of 2021. The car once launched, will be positioned below the Toyota Innova Crysta and it will compete with Mahindra Marazzo.
Toyota Ertiga Price
The on-road price of the Toyota Ertiga will be around Rs.9 lakhs for the base petrol and Rs.15 lakhs for the top model. This will have a different style, but the turning of the engine and the suspension will not alter. Toyota Ertiga will be about Rs.50, 000 expensive than the Maruti Ertiga.
