The XSR155 bike has a teardrop shape tank along with a tan color ripped single seat. Along with its retro style, it has modern features like an LED headlamp, LED tail lamp and a circular digital instrument console. It shares a similar feature with the Yamaha R15V3 and MT-15 in its 155cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder motor and six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.
The underpinning is quite premium – an inverted front fork, rear mono-shock with the aluminium swingarm and disc brakes at both ends. The power output is 19.3 PS at 10,000rpm and 14.7 at 8500rpm.
The ground clearance is higher at 180 MM and the bike is heavier than the MT-15 by a kilogram at 134 KG with the addition of an engine and a heat shield on the exhaust. The side panels covering the frame add a muscular touch to the motorcycle. An LCD unit is offered for the instrument cluster.
